Unlike carpet, oak flooring does not trap dirt, animal dander, pollen, particulate matter, or other regular allergens. This means that it’s considerably more undemanding and simpler to improve your indoor air quality. Wood floors are often a must for allergy victims. Besides, many carpets will lose their luster eventually. The color starts to change with fading and all the blots that are impossible to remove. With oak flooring, you won’t experience this issue. The steady look of hardwood is a reason why hardwood lasts for so many years and hardly ever needs to be replaced.
